This past summer, we were saddened by the loss of Cass Frey, a member of the Elmira Sugar Kings from 2010-2014, and our Captain in his last two seasons. Cass was an instrumental part of the Sutherland Cup winning team in 2011 and will be remembered as the “Ultimate Sugar King”.
This season, our team will wear a helmet sticker in memory of Cass, a Sugar King who made a lasting impact with teammates, coaches, staff, volunteers, and fans.
